. . . and we’re unveiling our interactive assignment for each church.

Paul tells us in Philippians 4:12 that he’s learned the secret of being content in any and all circumstances. “What is the secret to being content?” We would like for you and your students to answer that question in a creative and unique way this year.

When you come to the registration desk on December 29th we’re going to give you as many 8x8 pieces of fabric as you and your students would like to use, and throughout the conference as you have time in your church group devotions or free time, have your students illustrate whether by drawing a picture, writing a poem, a story or any creative expression, their answer to that question. (You are more than welcome to bring your own decorating tools or have them do this activity beforehand if you’d like).

If you read on to vs. 13 we see that Paul finds his strength in Christ. The theme this year is all about Him and how in Him we find “more than enough.” So you can help your students by talking to them about Christ’s strength and how we find our significance and our identity in His name.

On the last day of the conference we will combine all of the pieces and reveal a beautiful quilt representing what Christ has done and is doing in the lives of California students.
